Eligibility Criteria of CTET Exam:

Common Criteria for Both Papers:

  • Educational Qualification:
    • Paper 1: Graduate degree with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for reserved category candidates).
    • Paper 2: Graduate degree with a minimum of 50% marks and a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) degree.
  • Age Limit: No upper age limit.

Additional Criteria for Paper 1:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 50% marks and completion of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) or a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.).
  • Passed Class 12th examination with at least 50% marks.

Additional Criteria for Paper 2:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 50% marks and completion of a 2-year Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) or a 4-year integrated B.A./B.Sc.B.Ed. program.
  • Passed Class 12th examination with at least 50% marks.
